Celebrations filled the streets of Durban as residents and football fans turned out in large numbers to honour Durban City Football Club following their historic Nedbank Cup victory.
EThekwini Municipality Mayor, Councillor Cyril Xaba, visited the Durban Tourism exhibition stand at Africa’s Travel Indaba this morning. The SABC Morning Live crew spoke to him about the economic spin-offs of Africa’s most prestigious tourism trade exhibition.

Thousands of supporters lined the streets as Durban City Football Club paraded the prestigious Nedbank Cup trophy through the City following their historic victory.
From UKZN Howard College to Moses Mabhida Stadium, the atmosphere was electric, as fans came together in pride, unity, and celebration of a remarkable achievement for the club.
