Moments from the last couple months. Thankful for those who came to my 30th birthday skate in March! Always fun shaking off the rust from winter. 🌻 Hitting a new decade is bittersweet. While I wrestle with messiness of life, I believe I’m exactly where I’m meant to be, doing all I can in this moment. Still learning to trust that the rest will find its way to me if it’s meant for me. Time flies so might as well give yourself grace along the way 🤍
From my birthday vacation in Puerto Rico 🏝️ Explored El Yunque forest, old San Juan, La Parguera (to see the biobay), and other local spots. Being randomly invited to see a hardcore show was sweet. Funny that I struggled fitting my skates in my luggage when I didn’t even have time to skate. Lol that’s ok. Next time. Thankful to @valerieifly@visualsandtechbysoto for showing me and @kushgoth_ around and making sure we got the best out of our trip 🫶 hope to visit again soon
November and December in no order. Haven’t been to the skate park much *insert 5050 clip* lol 🤍. However I’ve hit the skate rink a lot and done some sweet stuff to close the year out like see Cuzco in Philly, family in Charlotte and watch the local Bmore vert skating contest. Thankful for all the good from this year 😌
October shenanigans 🍁 Went to ren fest, my cousins wedding, a few skate meets and a haunted walkthrough. Also traded in my car for a newer Honda Fit manual. Loving it so far 🤍
From my trip to upstate NY with the fam 🍂. It was a beautiful trip. Had the best salmon I’ve ever ate, went to a spa for a massage, kayaked, hiked, skated and visited my grandmas gravesite so I could catch her up on the last two decades 🤍
It’s been a bit. Injuries, health problems and adulting has been wearing me out lately, but I’m getting through it. Thank you for everyone who came to the meet up me and @kurly__q hosted a few days ago. 💕 I’m excited for autumn and the meetups/festivities that come with it. Also get to see more family later this month 😌
Sprained my wrist and finger and bruised myself up a bunch recently, but that’s just part of the territory with skating and pushing comfort zones. Made a fun day trip to NYC last weekend to visit some skate spots but hope to go back again this year with a little more time.
Mental health wise I’ve been reducing stressful obligations. Started writing in a gratitude journal. Deleted a lot of social media. Protecting my energy a bit more. I’ve noticed I tend to overwork myself and need to make more time to relax. Learning not to live in survival mode. Takes practice, but I’m getting there 😌
Content dump ✨ Had some family visit in the last month, which included seeing Longwood gardens with the parents, skating at the rink with my mom and duck pin bowling with my sister. Also skated in Pride Parade and competed in the @baltimore_quad_skate_classic , but I have no photos or videos. Probably for the best since I fell on my ass anyways 😂. Enjoy what are mostly bail skate clips since I have not been caring to clip myself lately.
Dump of Charlotte and B’more content with no particular order. So glad I got to see my momma for Mother’s Day this year 🌸 and saw a handful of friends when I visited Charlotte I hadn’t seen in forever (forgot to take any photos oops lol). Moxi Skate Camp at Woodward was a blast this past weekend 🤍. Spent the bulk of the time playing with grinds on down ledges and ramp to ledge! Lots of progress
