03.08.26 • Mix Update 💽 Good Day bbs ♾️ I bring you good tidings of joy and Drum & Bass today 😉🎧🎼🥁 I am sure you’ve been waiting to see this gorgeous cover that I made 💅🏼 I actually created this Cover Photo from 3 separate photos of my own, including one from my recent set with Random Movement & Karl K, within Photoshop, like I always do. My DJ logo is a Vector, so I was able to easily place it and adjust the fill and opacity to create the transparency and ripple effects of it that you can see in the water. I used PS AI to create the reflection in the water 🩷✨ You will not find my Cover Photo for this mix anywhere else on the internet because, it is my work. It’s almost like B new exactly what I needed that I do not have yet — well, now I do but, I definitely did not have — a good selection of photos to create different crops of for my EPK. Much appreciated for the great shots again! I also have to shout out @treeverbvisuals for the amazing visuals all night because he helped make a Woman DJs dream a reality by bringing my name to life in lights 🥲🫶🏼🎧 For that, I could not be more sincerely appreciative 📽️🌙🩷 Thank you so very much, Eno! 03.10.26 • There Is Beauty In Deep Rolling Basslines 🌌 Saturday Night was — Electronic Energy ⚡️ Thank you so much to my friend @sunnysideupone for snapping some photos for the people on Saturday Night! 📸 He came all the way down from Virginia for our event because as he told it to me, he saw the event flyer with my name @etharixdnb and @dyskosapyen on it and he knew he had to come. So, what did he do? He grabbed his camera, some money, and hopped in his car to drive down 🥹🫶🏼 I know that I am so appreciative of the fact that Brandon came down for this event because it was in fact my first genuine live set outside of Open Decks and Sub Rosa, not to mention it was my first support set. I also hadn’t seen him since at least 2023! He doesn’t make it down here too often. Adulting keeps us all busy sometimes. This was a unique experience, and he was so happy and excited to see me play that night that he came up to me afterwards and he said to me, “Thank you so much! That is exactly what I needed. I really appreciate that. I loved your set, it was really great. This is exactly why I came. For You.” 😭😭😭😭 My heart was so full as soon as he said that to me. A lot of people came out and he observed a lot, so he told me what he saw, noticed, heard, and observed while everyone was listening to me play my set, dancing to my set, and watching me play my set. Needless to say his insight seems to be quite positive and the feedback I have received so far has also been positive. Of course I made some small mistakes but, I was quick to correct them. I have learned from this. I will carry the lessons from this on with me and begin playing Open Decks again now that I am well into my recovery from Septic Shock. Thank you to everyone who has shown me kindness, love, and support. I genuinely appreciate all of your support. I will continue to work on improving and progressing in live mixing with my sets. I know that there is a difference between playing at home in my studio and playing at a venue indoors or outdoors. Thankfully, no reverb outdoors, so maybe that helped lessen the notice of the mistakes I did make. Until next time xx #dnb #raleigh #nc #ncdnb #edm
