Steve Zahn and I started a theater company back in the early 90’s. We’ve had a lot of adventures since then. He is a powerful creative force, a magnificent actor, and a hell of a man. His new film SHE DANCES- is shot straight from the heart and lands with grace & beauty. @shedancesthemovie is theaters now and I highly recommend it.
In 2015 I recorded a version of ‘My Funny Valentine’ while playing the great jazz musician Chet Baker in BORN TO BE BLUE. 10 years later in BLUE MOON, I took on the role of the song’s brilliant lyricist Lorenz Hart. A full circle moment that I’m remembering especially today. Happy Valentine’s Day

I love film festivals - they’re the lifeblood of our industry. It was an honor to receive the American Riviera Award from the incomparable @thejeffbridges , whose performances in so many films make me proud of my profession. (Not to mention- The Big Lebowski served as great inspiration while creating The Lowdown)
