I remember when @spotify started making these. I was in college, and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on one. Little did I know, the journey would be way more fun than hanging one on my wall. The love I have for everyone that took that journey with me is hard to explain and has been one of the peak surprises of my life. They say that college is the last time you make life long friends, but if you find something you love doing and people you love doing it with, those sorts of friendships keep emerging. I think the greatest gift one can receive is passion, because it creates purpose and gives life potency. Find yours and let it spill into everything you do. If anyone ever tells you you’re doing too much, know that it’s likely coming from the perspective of someone who isn’t doing enough.
Such a joy working on this record with one of the greatest voices of all time — @torikelly and our boy @itsjvke . “this is what floating feels like” is one of my favorite songs we’ve done yet.
I have so much appreciation for the whole team who threw down last minute to make this one happen.

This @nardowick album has been a journey—from working “Who Want Smoke” in 2021 to “Dah Dah DahDah” just last year and many others in between and since then. I think “Who Want Smoke” might have been one of the first records I ever worked with @snapbackant —a foreshadowing of many great things that were to come. Thanks to ADP for involving me on so many of these records and congrats to everyone who played a role in making these hits! S/O to 👑 Nardo for bearing the weight of the crown
