It all starts with a crazy idea and then it’s a dream that is realized. Congratulations to my brother @armandboua for his massive achievement as an artist. Armand was selected to be one of the artists in this year’s Venice Biennale. You can see his monumental artworks in the Ivory Coast’s Pavillon in Venice. The first photo is from when I visited Armand in Abidjan this year. He was getting everything ready so it could be shipped to Venice and we also managed to plan his next solo show at my gallery. No small feat! The last picture is of us at the grand opening in Venice. It’s very special anytime I can celebrate an achievement with a fellow artist and friend. I’m incredibly proud to say that Aboudia, who I have represented for close to a decade is being given the recognition he deserves at one of the biggest venues for art in the world this year. In the Ivory Coast Pavillon, Aboudia is debuting a new set of works where he incorporates dimensionality in his painting for the first time.
