Been having a lot of fun posting these Sunday Sessions live playthroughs this week. We certainly don't profess to be the best at this stuff, but for us probably more than anything, these moments are little markers for where we were with how well we play our music.
As musicians, we strive to play our music really well, pressing into the work needed to perfect parts, make things tight and grow as a player in your respective instrument. To us, this matters a great deal. We're not perfect in execution and perfection isn't possible but we do want the parts to hit right, for our band to lock into the music well.
All these videos were filmed on a basic phone, nothing special... a good few months ago. They represent that snapshot. Thanks for watching, engaging and helping us grow.

A short while ago we recorded a Sunday rehearsal session... We dubbed this whole series of songs "Sunday Sessions"... Basically, we run through the set, mix it on our X32 and give the recordings a quick master. Simple view of what our Sundays look like each week, except on this occasion we recorded it.
It is for sure helpful for bands to record their sets, as it really helps to get perspective on where you are with how tight you're playing, parts that need more work etc... as you're now getting an external view of what you're doing. For the bands out there, give it a try if you haven't already. Goes a long way to tightening things up for actual shows.
