Hi!! I’m very excited to share this composite post of many illustrations!! These are my favorites from Museum of the End- a project exploring the story of a little creature traveling back in time to understand why humans went extinct and to build a museum filled with ancient artifacts she finds along the way. The two places featured here are the Sacred Monkey Forest in Indonesia and Isla Jaina! I was able experiment a lot with different media throughout this project and definitely fell in love with traditional illustration again… some of these pieces are BIG!! My hand bound zine collection is growing! The pages are hand sewn and recycled from a programming book, then drawn and painted and collaged and sewn on top :0) plus the washi tape on the first page with the worms and apples is one I designed! 🍎 I’ve been holding onto these individually so I figured I would put them all together! 🐜I had the chance to table at a local con this past Friday and put out the second chapter into the world for the first time… thank you so much to everyone who has read it and messaged me about it it’s genuinely so motivating and inspiring to hear back about it !! 🐛Also very interesting to hear interpretations… I was so afraid people would read chapter two and dislike Charlie but I’ve heard more positive Charlie thoughts and more negative Liam thoughts… which is fair but unexpected… (first time doing a poll… I’m curious) ⭐️I love making comics and im so excited to start working on the pages of ants chapter 3 !!
