We are delighted to announce that Community Clothing have teamed up with @etautz to relaunch the field trouser.
Launched in 2015 the Tautz field trouser achieved iconic status, worn by designers, editors, stylists and cool kids from New York to Tokyo. Based on a 1950’s US military field trouser they were cut ultra-wide and very long and used about 60% more fabric than a normal chino.
The relaunched E. Tautz X Community Clothing field trouser will be sewn at @cookson_clegg in Blackburn on the same machines, by the same guys, from the very same super tough heavyweight cotton twill as the original. The only difference is the Community Clothing label inside.
