Initiative 02 - Artist Spotlight Born in Upper Austria, TR TACTICS is the solo project of Thomas Schobesberger, a producer who has become a driving force in the darker, more technical edge of Drum & Bass. Emerging from Austria’s growing neurofunk scene, he first gained international attention after winning the Drum&BassArena remix competition in 2013—an early milestone that helped launch his career onto the global stage. Since then, TR TACTICS has built a reputation for uncompromising, high-impact production, rooted firmly in the neurofunk subgenre. His sound is defined by intricate drum programming, aggressive bass design, and a meticulous attention to detail—hallmarks of a style that reflects the broader evolution of modern drum & bass toward more complex, precision-engineered compositions.
