This one is for me, though. I rarely acknowledge the effort I put into things, which is a common trait, but for this win, Iβm claiming all the credit in the world. I never imagined I can compete with some of the most talented braiders/barbers in the game at one of the largest barber shows globally. To my fellow Braiders, we never had such opportunities back in the day. Now, with this platform, we have the chance to showcase our skills and talent.
I hope each and everyone of you comes out in at least a few of these events. Let your name be heard, let your work be known, and donβt forget the networking opportunities these shows provide. Last night I had the pleasure of meeting some of my fellow braiders and barbers, in the industry that I truly admire. If I havenβt taken the initiative to come out and compete, I would never have had the opportunity to meet them in person.

@barbernas for stepping out of retirement to support me and showcase his skills. This man, right here, is one of the reasons why I decided to participate in numerous of competitions. He currently holds an impressive 55 trophies under his belt, and thatβs the motivation that drives me to reach the top. Braiders/barbers, you all have potential to reach greatness.
Remember, itβs not about winning or losing; itβs about stepping out of your comfort zone and doing this for yourself. Push yourself beyond your limits and do it for yourself!
