This isn’t the regularly aesthetically pleasing content that I normally post instead it’s our reality. We found out we were pregnant again at the beginning of November while we were on vacation! Blissfully unaware what was to follow. On December 2nd I was seen by my midwife & the ultrasound revealed I was experiencing an ectopic pregnancy. Our world was shattered yet again. I spent the better half of December in & out of Dr appointments but ultimately on December 31st I ended up rupturing & needed emergency surgery. I have gone back & forth about sharing this - I don’t share this because I want sympathy. I share this because there are far too many people who suffer in silence. Know you are not alone - I see you 🤍 Ectopic pregnancies are extremely rare yet I have already talked to many woman who have experienced them. It’s a life changing event that you never wish on anyone! I know he is going to hate this but I have to shout out @j.schmidt12 - he has been my rock, my biggest comfort in the darkest days, he has held space for wounds he didn’t create, has remained calm & he truly is the most patient person I know. Thank you for loving me, grieving with me, & showing up for me. No one else I would rather journey through this life than with you 🤍
