Boglárka Sándor brings a bold reimagining of Baroque visual language into the present. Her sculptural garment distills the drama of 17th-century silhouettes into sharp architectural forms, think exaggerated sleeves, a boned denim peplum corset, and velvet waist padding that nods to historical understructures. Stylized engravings replace traditional ornamentation, offering a contemporary echo of Baroque detail. With contrasts between rigid structure and soft fringe, raw denim and plush velvet, the piece thrives in the tension between eras, an intimate dialogue between body, history, and design.
