This project started with the customer having the fireplace facing redone to create a fresh, updated look around the existing masonry fireplace.
Once the facing work was completed, Estates Chimney came in to handle the fireplace installation. We installed a @mendotahearth FV44i FireIn direct vent gas insert, including the direct vent liner system and the final setup of the unit.
The finished result gives the customer the look of a traditional fireplace with the convenience, efficiency, and performance of a modern direct vent gas insert.

This project started with an original masonry-built fireplace, complete with a stone front and hearth. The existing fireplace face was torn down to make way for a cleaner, more updated design.
Our team fabricated a custom mantel surround, completed the tile work, installed shiplap above the fireplace, added crown molding, and installed the @mendotahearth FV44i Fire-In direct vent gas insert.

This fireplace got a major upgrade with a custom-built poplar mantel finished in honey oak.
The original brick face had a unique three-tier layout, so this was not a standard, off-the-shelf install. It took careful planning, custom fabrication, and precise installation to make sure the finished mantel worked with the existing fireplace and brought the customer’s vision to life.
A lot of credit goes to our lead tech Josh, who did an outstanding job building and installing this piece. Clean work, sharp finish, and a big transformation overall.
