New website alert!
I love working with nonprofits that do great things for their local community. I was approached by folks with Stillwater Watershed Partners in Ohio to build them a more robust website to help them promote their cause and help with gathering online donations.
With this project I helped them setup an account to accept online donations and track traffic so they'll be able to watch the performance of their website and make any changes they need to help build on their success. And with every website I build, they'll be trained on how to manage and update their content on their own, with help from me if needed.
Stillwater Watershed Partners work focuses on preserving waterways, improving habitat, and ensuring the long-term health of the region’s natural resources.

On Saturday I had the opportunity to capture an amazing fundraising event for @aspecialwishohiovalley held at the Capitol Theatre. It was one of those nights that just had energy from start to finish!

I’m not afraid to say it- West Virginia deserves better.
My priorities in office are simple:
💙Clean drinking water in 2026. Not someday, now! Our coalfields are in a public health emergency.
💙Rebuilding our roads and investing in broadband and infrastructure.
💙Protecting Social Security for the people who earned it.
💙Defending our public libraries and saving our public schools.
💙Expanding access to quality, affordable healthcare.
And most importantly, fully funding the programs our communities rely on to survive and thrive.
West Virginia has been overlooked and underserved for far too long. We are one of the most disenfranchised states in this country, and it’s time we change that.
We are not broken, but we have been neglected. I’m running to change that.
It’s time to protect our interests, invest in our people, and lift West Virginia up and out of generational poverty and generational trauma.
We deserve more, and I’m ready to fight for that.

Harvey Goodman Property Management came to me with a clear goal: align their website with their established branding and create a site that doesn’t just look good but also works hard for their business.
The new responsive website was developed with performance in mind by expanding their content strategy and implemented targeted search engine optimization, placing keywords intentionally throughout the site to increase visibility and drive organic traffic. Analytics have been integrated so they can better understand visitor demographics and behavior, and sitemaps have been submitted to major search engines to track rankings and search terms. This data will allow them to continually refine and strengthen their online presence.
Just as important, the site is built for independence. It’s structured so their team can easily update and manage content internally without needing to rely on a developer for everyday changes.

I’ve been running Essington Creative full-time for six years now, and in that time I’ve designed so many websites and captured countless photos and videos for some truly incredible people.
A few fun facts about me:
• I’m a parent to an amazing kiddo who is a pretty tough competitor in Connect 4.
• I discovered a love for camping last year, and my 2026 goal is to camp a lot more and film the unique things I find along the way.
• I’m trans and love supporting our local community by organizing gender-affirming closets throughout the year. Goal is to organize a few other unique and fun events this year.
• I live with multiple sclerosis and chronic pain which has taught me a lot about resilience and perspective.
• I’ve stepped back into the wedding industry and am offering wedding films again!
