Researchers across the UK are starting work on four new projects to understand how the coronavirus pandemic and surrounding events have affected Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities.
From studying the dual impacts of racial discrimination and COVID-19 on mental health and wellbeing, to exploring the cultural impacts of the pandemic on Birmingham’s Muslim community, they’ll work closely with communities to document the social, cultural and economic effects of the pandemic and find ways to help.
