The most emotional design work in 2024

今年も素敵なお仕事を沢山させて頂いたのですが、一番感慨深いのは渋谷の古着屋さんblue roomのロゴをオリジナルフォントで刷新したことと、その少しあと、blue roomがNIKE AIR MAX SNDR FADEを国内で先行販売することになり、それに際したNIKEのロゴを同じく僕のオリジナルフォントで依頼してくれたことです。
僕なんかよりもっと技術のある人にも依頼出来る立場にいながらも、4年振りにまた自分に依頼してくれたことが本当に嬉しかったです。
I had a lot of great work done this year, but the one that made me the happiest was updating the logo of Shibuya's vintage clothing store "blue room" with an original font, and a little later, they updated the logo for NIKE.They decided to pre-sell NIKE AIR MAX SNDR FADE in Japan, and they asked me to use my original font for the NIKE logo.
I was really happy that they asked me again after four years, even though they could have asked someone with more skill than me.

The T-shirt I designed will be released on May 16th.
I think I was able to express my own style with the graphic that symbolically represents "NBHD."
I'm also very happy with the placement of the print on the back.
The thin lines on the front print are made with glittery silver ink, which provides a nice visual accent.
I hope you'll come and see it in person at a store.
I used to love the pink T-shirt with a white tiger print that was released in the Spring/Summer 2001 collection, so seeing the lavender-colored T-shirt from Neighborhood this season makes me feel nostalgic.
グラフィックを提供したTシャツが5月16日にリリースされます。
記号的に”NBHD”を表現したグラフィックは自分らしく仕上がったと思っていますし、背面のプリント位置も気に入っています。
前面の細いラインはラメの入ったシルバーインクでプリントされているので、視覚的に良いアクセントになっています。
是非、店頭でご覧頂きたいです。
2001SSで展開されていたピンク色ボディに白い虎がプリントされたTシャツを当時愛用していたので、今期のネイバーフッドのラベンダー色のボディを見るとなんだか懐かしく感じます。

I've been getting more and more DM from people overseas asking, "Where can I buy your products?", so I'm really happy that they're now being sold in a physical store.
原宿のTOXGOさんでキーチェーンをお取り扱い頂けることになりました。
海外の方から「お前のプロダクトはどこで買えるんだ？」と訊かれる機会が増えたので、実店舗で、しかもTOXGOで取り扱って頂けるのは本当に嬉しいです。
