Past week: Always sun from morning until late, watched some great shows with Dag Vagle and Misty Coast, and spent tons of time in the studio recording and installing additional inputs to my recording setup! ☀️🎶
Being well rehearsed is for sure the best way to get the most out of your recording session. A way to speed up the process even more, is hiring several people helping out with the setup and troubleshooting, so that you can be ready to record sooner and have more time for the actual recording 🎚️🎙️
Hiring musicians or just playing everything myself on the recordings I do with solo-artists is something that we consider together for every individual project. I always enjoy the speed and collaboration of working with other musicians in the room, and highly recommend trying it! I also gladly help finding the right ones for the job!

I want to share some of my perspective on modern music, and that there’s a lot of great music to be found for you. Modern music in general does not lack character, individuality or character, you just need to look somewhere else than the top 100 and New Music Friday’s. 🎶
I’ve bought tons of guitars so you don’t have to. When recording, it’s important to build textures, and I do it by layering with different guitars. Here’s a small taste of the textures we can play around with when we record at my studio! 🎸
Past week: We played our Folken-show with @poorbambiband and made a ton of noise, glad to see so many friendly faces in the crowd! Also celebrated one year together with @minamymusic 🥰 We’ve had a lot of good food, and Mina got to hold a really old wine 🍷
Pre-production for Saturdays show at @folken1988 is done!⚡️It is safe to say we’re VERY excited ❤️🔥

Past week: Talked a bit about @stavanger_mpw that happened in 2025 and plans for 2026 🎛️🎶 Witnessed @karbonkarbonkarbon win this years Mablis-Stipend 👏 Did some drum-recording with @simen_amundrud and will now be gearing up for the @poorbambiband show happening this coming Saturday at @folken1988 🤩
