#FestiveEdit with Bangalore Bongs 🌾🌸 Part 1
The advent of autumn bears a special sentiment in the hearts of Bengalis , no matter how far away we are from homeland , as it rings in the festivity, kindles the childhood nostalgia & announces the arrival of Durga, the mother goddess - who is also our ঘরের মেয়ে 'Uma' , visiting her father's abode for 9 days with her children.
Couple of months back,
@thebaldeagle.in & I were casually chatting (mostly about our mutual craving for chia seed pudding 😛) and randlomly ideated that how about we do a festive photoshoot before Durga puja this year, a self-styled one, using our own clothings & Bengali aesthetics.
As we progressed with the planning, we roped in our fellow bongs of Bangalore -
@kitarphsohg ,
@prasenjit_ch ,
@wordsmith__paul @the_daddy_lyfe &
@sudipkhasnabis . Then weeks of brainstorming over whatsapp group, deciding the segments, sequence ,colors ,fabrics, patterns , accessories, logistics & what not ! The foremost concern was the venue &
@nageshkotagiri came to rescue by generously letting us use the picturesque
@alkapuricourtyardblr for our shoot ❤️🏡 Finally
@sathwikmysore_photography joined us & took charge of not just the photography but also the creative direction 🙏📸 The apparently poised gestures what you see here is mostly the result of his hardwork , BTS video will be shared later to reveal the actual madness that went behind 😜
At the end, I would like to thank each of you for the great team effort , for making this happen & even more worth with all the fun, frolic ,dedication & love - giving that 'Agomoni' & 'celebration away from home' feel . That's the true 'Pujo' spirit we stand for ❤️🪔
Dugga Dugga !
