Bit of sad news :( @bootleggers_newtown will now be running a weekly gig on Saturdays, which means our next event will be the last RAVE CAVE for the time being while we hunt for a new home 🖤 Big thanks to all the teams at @goodintentmusic and @kellysonking for having us since November! It’s been a blast while it lasted 🖤 If you haven’t bought tickets to our next event yet or always wanted to check us out, make sure you don’t miss out on our final event (for now) next weekend! RAVE CAVE prides itself on paying our DJs, photographers etc. the fees they deserve to survive as creatives in an always tough industry. The overwhelming majority of your ticket price go to paying the people who help put on nights like ours a premium. As a performer and DJ myself, I know how hard it is to feel you have to argue for what you deserve for the effort that’s put in to pull together a set, pay for tracks, help spread the word etc. and I always do my best to make sure whoever is involved in RAVE CAVE doesn’t have to fight for that, it’s an expectation upfront. I barely take a cent from the night myself unless I’m really struggling for money, all of it either goes to who’s on the bill, their travel and accommodation if their coming from outside of Sydney, the photos and videos on the night, door staff etc. We’re all looking forward to seeing your lovely faces next weekend! ☺️ - ESIAL
