Audacious founders. Consequential companies.
That’s who MIT delta v is built for.
MIT’s flagship startup accelerator is now open and redesigned for a smaller, more focused cohort of teams serious about building.
Selected teams get:
• $75K equity-free funding
• $200K+ in perks
• Direct access to founders, operators, and investors • A full-time summer building in Cambridge
The goal of delta v is simple: help teams leave the summer with a product that real customers value and will pay for.

Last week, Student Life spent an incredible day with @7uicefoundation , @bridge_future , and @roxburybgc at MIT Sloan. ✨
Twenty-two high school students joined us on campus to hear from Sloan alum Dip Patel MBA ’14, connect over lunch with 14 current MIT students, tour MIT, and cap off the day by pitching their own original entrepreneurial ventures in a hackathon at @eshipmit . Led by Bill Aulet and supported by Sloan students and @bosxchange mentors, it was a day full of learning, creativity, and big ideas.
Stwart Peña Feliz, MBA ’23, and former MIT postdoctoral researcher Jan-Georg Rosenboom—co-founders of the 2023 MIT delta v startup MacroCycle Technologies—met in 2022 in 15.366 MIT Energy & Climate Ventures.
“Given my experience working with ExxonMobil's plastic recycling technology, I thought Jan’s technology was ‘too good to be true’ when he presented it to the class,” says Peña Feliz. “I eventually realized that his technology was not only true, but really good.”
The pair wanted to achieve certain goals prior to fully committing to being co-founders. By the time MacroCycle won $500,000 through the Breakthrough Energy Fellowship in May 2023, those goals were being met.
“At that point, we looked at each other and decided that nothing could stop us,” says Peña Feliz. “Of course, many conversations were had beforehand, but for me, that was the defining moment that allowed us to make this official.”
