Drove 2500 miles to experience the Pacific Northwest (see the Goonies house) with my best friend.
Some field notes:
- The Pacific Cost Highway kicks ass
- Saw a big âol bear, elk, cattle, sea lions, goats, bald eagles, sheep, horses, dogs, deer, hawks, vultures, cats, and lots of squirrels
- That wasnât an earthquake, that was a train
- Seeing the Redwoods is a breathtaking experience. We should be fighting like hell to protect our national parks from this administration
- Donât worry. Only a few people saw you slip in the mud near Thorâs Well on the Oregon Coast
- Audiobooks finished: The Grapes of Wrath, The Bronx Is Burning, By the Fire We Carry

Some ny memories:
1. the garden really is the first part of ny I knew and loved
2. starting doing stand-up in high schoolâŚnever again
3. interning then working at Comedy Central. this sums up that time well
4. so many concerts, plays, shows, etc. but none better than seeing bruce on broadway
5. moving to south harlem where I spent most of my best days in the city
6. adopting and getting to know my best friend
7. working at snl and late night. a dream I still canât fathom is real life
8. spending much of my pandemic reading in central park with this guy
9. meeting @cat_blake / hudsonâs best friend
10. eating pizza, eating bagels, eating halal platters
anyways, I love everyone I met in ny and Iâll see you in no time
