We have been a lil quite lately here posting about the business🫶🏽🌱
In the winter season for our small business it is the time when we plan for the year ahead, apply for events, miss our summer market family, create new products, check on partner stores, work on side projects, and more time to reflect ✨
We may be hibernating and not doing as many events as usual in this season but we are planning for our next evolution and what that looks like for ESCNW💎

I know I’m not the only one missing our summertime event season😭
As a small business owner during the off season/slow time it sometimes is hard to keep going🙏🏽
Between trying to apply for events for the upcoming year, trying to find new events, and making products here and there. It truly takes alot to run a business✨
Check on your small business friends you guys, engage with their content, send them a lil reminder of what your favorite products are, and shop from their websites!
I know I miss seeing our market family, customers, and getting our creations out into our community😭🥺
Only a couple more months till we’re full swing back into vending and getting to be back out in the community 💖

Behind the scenes of what it looks like to create our crystal portal of a booth ✨💎
After doing so many events here in town over the years we wanted to share a couple tricks of the trade we have learned from doing the farmers market circuit here in Spokane,WA 🌲
1. Always have a good solid tent and tent weights!!! ANCHOR your tent down as soon as you pop up your tent! (We have seen some tents fly away before events have even started 🫣)
2. Waterproof beach/patio mats work great for creating a unique floor for your booth space and helps to lower the heat when vending on pavement! 🌤️
3. Always drop your stuff off and have a vendor buddy or market helper watch your stuff and go and park your car so you aren’t blocking any fellow vendors trying to load in as well (the market managers will thank you later) 🛻🚚🚛
4. Table leg extenders have become such a help for raising our main table so it’s higher up for shopping! 🛍️
5. Choose tablecloths and displays that are cohesive with your branding and always try to have multiple levels to catch the customers eye 👁️
6. Have signs that clearly show your prices of your products all through out your booth!🪧
7. Everyone’s booth is apart of their brand identity so let it be a reflection of your creativity and have fun with it! After doing events for over 7 years we will try rearranging certain products and displays just to spice it up at times 🔮
7. This wasn’t really mentioned in the video but in Spokane you HAVE TO BE prepared for all weather and all conditions! Always have your side walls in your tent with you at events just in case, and if you do a double booth they have rain gutter systems as well! 🌧️❄️☀️
8. Remember to have fun with setting up even tho it can sometimes be in the wind, rain, sun and extreme heat remember to drink lots of water on event days.. your body will thank you later! 💧💦
