It's going to be a lovely day at Emerald Street Community Farm on Saturday May 9th from 11am-1pm. We'll have harvest guides on site to help anyone who wants to come for radishes, lettuce, arugula, mustard greens, spring mix, spinach and herbs. 2300 Emerald Street. We'll have harvest knives but please bring a bag if you can. Come enjoy the spring harvest with us. Love is in the veggies.

We have asparagus! You may have noticed that the big green forest of asparagus ferns has been cut back to reveal mature asparagus stems. After three years of getting this crop to maturity, we can now harvest and enjoy it! To harvest, cut a stem near the base of the stalk, but please be careful not to damage the stalks next to it. Enjoy!! And send us your pics of how you prepared it!
Save the date! Sunday April 12, gate opens 10am. One of our favorite spring events is back this year. Come through and hold a baby chick! š„We ask for sliding scale donations and the proceeds are used to take good care of our chickens all year round. Open to all, hope you can join us!
No farm day on Wednesday 4/1/26. We got so much done during our recent work days, we are all caught up! Next Wednesday 4/8/26 we will plant seedlings. Thank you everyone who helped out on our work days!

Our holiday hangout with @chillchoirphilly was awesome! Thank you to everyone who came out! The kids loved the cocoa, sāmores and fire. And the singing was beautiful.
