Released in December 2025 on @superchipmusic , the label founded by @simmadub (also behind dub junction ), the Rootsman Riddim taps into the modern Digital Roots / Digital Reggae sound built for sound system sessions.
Produced by Scottish producer @escape.roots , the riddim brings together several familiar voices from the scene: YT, Wends, Simma, Parly B, Blackout JA and Yeza.
Each artist delivers their own take before the instrumental riddim and a dub version by Simma close the set.
Pressed as a series of 3×7" singles, the groove is direct and effective, the kind of riddim made to heat up a winter session.
Simple, heavy digital roots… and hard to get out of your head.
