• Dylan Rodgers ‘23, an Agroforestry Educator at Plenitud, a nonprofit educational farm in Puerto Rico and Vermont. After graduating as an E&S major concentrating in sustainable agriculture, Dylan completed a Fulbright Program research grant studying aquaponics viability in Nepal.
• Adam Sharifi ‘24, a PhD candidate in the Soil and Crop Sciences Section at Cornell University, whose research focuses on sustainable agriculture. As an undergraduate, Adam studied Environment and Sustainability with a concentration in Environmental Biology and Applied Ecology.
Come enjoy chai, ask questions, and learn about alumni pathways in sustainability, agriculture, and environmental research!
We invite you to join us for an honors thesis information session at 4:45, Monday, May 4, in 101 Kennedy Hall.
All students curious about the honors thesis option are welcome.
We particularly encourage the attendance of December 2026 and May 2027 graduates who are contemplating doing a thesis if you have not yet joined a past info session.
E&S, in cooperation with the Cornell Summer Experience Grant Program, is making funding available to support students pursuing academic- or professionally-oriented, environmentally-relevant activities this summer.
These funds will be allocated to eligible E&S students committed to un-paid or under-paid activities.

Come chat with Professor Christy Goodale, an ecosystem ecologist, studying how carbon, water, and nutrients cycle through forest ecosystems and affect processes such as forest carbon storage and catchment retention of nitrogen. She also examines the effects of human activities on these processes.
