In the spring of 2000 I travelled to Gainseville Florida to record "The Singles Collection" for a band that never existed. Bridgeburne r was the brainchild of @notdamiendone , a fictitious band from the fictitious town of Balderdash Texas, but a hella cool one if you knew about it. Together with @kbstewart (photo #8, in the no-sleeves t), and @billdups222 , we recorded 8 songs in a week. Genet records released these tounge-in-cheek recordings on CD. The following summer, we toured Europe with @thepulse3 filling on bass at the last minute, joining Fall Silent on their debut Eurpoean tour.

In the spring of 2000 I ran into Damien Moyal in Amsterdam and it wasn't long before the band Bridgeburne R sprang from the void.
In a short time and across two continents we whipped up an 8 track release with Kaleb Stewart and Bill Clower and toured Europe with Tre Beaton on bass. The band backstory on the album is fictitious but the music was fuckin' real.

In this Rotterdam-of-the-future, Chaima starts her evening by planning a hypersonic, high altitude flight to a remote region of The Gambia, where her sixth-sense and chemical genius guides her to find rare mutations of various herbs and spices that make the fast-food of this time period so delicious and healthy it put all hard drugs out of business.
In the interest of civilian safety, she'll only blast off from an abandoned dockside location in the old harbor.
Like any busy woman, she has to deal with her family life, social life, and her vocation simultaneously, just one of the realities technology and social evolution will never get past. But why should they? Chaima's got this. She's the R&D end of Bizy B's day & Night Express, with her bestie Soleada handling distribution.
