L’umorismo, strumento fondamentale nella sua pratica, apre a questioni filosofiche e sociali: Wurm mette in scena le tensioni della società contemporanea, criticando le pressioni del capitalismo e le costruzioni identitarie imposte dall’esterno

Erwin Wurm’s solo exhibition in Venice opens at Museo Fortuny tomorrow, Wednesday, May 6!
This mid-career survey features over 80 works by the Austrian artist, including his groundbreaking ‘One Minute Sculptures.’ Additionally, examples from his ‘Dreamers’ and ‘Substitutes’ series are on view—both here in Venice and in our current New York exhibition.
