While seeking shelter under the balm during a mountain storm, a sonic tension between comfort and chaos unfolds. In their sound piece, babybat and Julian Max challenge musical traditions by confronting an accordion with an electronic setup as often found in club culture - two turntables and a mixing desk. By looping, processing and digitally transforming the sound into multi-layered textures, an element of uncertainty is introduced which disrupts the concept of the familiar.
