From the deep, dark and dutty rollers, to the high intensity jump up, Ben Shaw isnât afraid to shell out whatever the crowd desires. After studying at MAINZ and having the influence of Tom Lee from Lee Mvtthews as his tutor, Ben has continued to develop his skills and music choice throughout the years, to finally discover his true home in the 174bpm range.
Making his club debut with a house set at impala night club, after his initial influences into the DJing and production scene stemming from the rise of Martin Garrix, Ben has slowly transitioned to Drum and Bass and never looked back. Since then Ben has only kept growing and continues to perform at countless drum & bass gigs in Auckland, looking to make that next step into the national and international market.
Recently Ben gained some popularity after his bootleg of âRubadubâ by Gray went international, gaining over 1.4k likes on DNBiD and being posted all over UK drum and bass social media. Not only did this bring light to Benâs production but also the thriving scene of D&B producers and DJâs in New Zealand to the world. After this recent success in production Ben is continuing to work on plenty of unreleased bangers so make sure to look out for his name in future
