Kneat for the Slab Social.
Incredible weekend with the Slab Social at the Orange Show Center for Visionary Arts. Thank you Iris for including me in this project.
We found it appropriate to honor Blue Line Mike for this piece. I didn’t know Mike personally. I just turned 35, he would have been 34 next week. That shit broke my heart. I couldn’t help but get emotional when I talked to his family. It was moving to see how his community showed up for him. Long Live Blue Line Mike.
🔥MEMORIAL DAY🔥

Together.
The tallest mural project I’ve ever gotten to work as of yet! This is when I feel in love with @woosterbrushcompany cutback brushes. Still have a lot more to share about this project and what it thought me.
Thank you @rehabwithehab_ for the opportunity and @investyle.co for the vision. Great synergy!

Kneat for SoleTies.
“Community will save you when you can’t save yourself.” @soleties.runclub , one of the (if not the) fastest growing run clubs in Houston. We had the great opportunity to work with them on a graphic encapsulating their values to commemorate their one year anniversary. Robel and the team is a highly passionate group focused on bringing people together through action, compassion, inclusivity, and most importantly, faith.
Follow @soleties.runclub to join their next run!
Kneat for the Divine Art Coalition.
Details. ✨ With this piece I wanted to capture the energetic environment the Futbolito en el Barrio games bring to the East End. Movement, competition, fun, attitude, flair, art, culture, and sometimes chaos, but always Houston. 🫶🏽
Would you like to see a full breakdown of how I first design artwork like this, then execute? Lmk, I’d really like to hear your input.
A special thank you to Al the photographers who provide these beautiful photos I use as references. Here’s a few used in this piece:

Kneat for Sweet Roars.
April holds many birthdays in my family, but none sweeter than the one for the homies. Cheers to y’all. I love y’all. @sweetroars EST. 2020
Kneat for a friend we’ve known since we were 4 years old.
This patch was independently commissioned by my childhood friend @salvador3e who works as Lead Technology Development Engineer in NASA’s Astromaterial Curation Department.
The OSIRIS-REx mission is such an important milestone in humanity’s search for the origin of life in our solar system. I had the privilege and honor to be a part of NASA’s Astromaterial Curation Team that played a pivotal role in extracting the asteroid sample and distributing it to the scientific community. There were countless challenges along the way but our team, comprised of some of the brightest & dedicated scientists in the world, always found a way to overcome them. It was inspiring to witness.. This commission was a gift to that team. A symbol of the incredible work that they have accomplished, and the amazing work that is yet to come as the 4.5 billion year old asteroid continues to share its secrets of the universe with us.
Kneat for Finca Tres Robles
I was honored to be selected to create last year’s Salsa de Mayo artwork. I wanted to speak on the current issues our latino and immigrant communities are going through. El Cuāuhcēlōtl is an eagle headdress the Aztec elite warriors would wear. It symbolized power and the skill of an eagle. Reminding our people we come from some of the most ruthless warriors that ever walked the earth. The goal was to share less panic and encourage reflection. It’s less about the fight, (we have always been fighting) and more about strength; in numbers, in mind and in love.
Animo y Amor.
Special thanks to the @houstonmoca as artwork was funded in part by the City of Houston through the @houstonartsalliance Thank you to the entire team at @fincatresrobles
