The indelible mark of memory. Katsiaryna Yermakova’s RESIDUE is a silent dialogue between childhood in Belarus and the enduring power of nature, where home is an inner presence.
Inspired by a scene from Tarkovsky’s The Sacrifice, RESIDUE evokes two scenarios: the elusive silence of childhood in Belarus and the wind-sculpted landscapes of Seven Sisters. The collection is a dialogue between memory and nature, sealing the time that fades. Garments draw from rural tradition, reinterpreted into playful proportions. Outerwear silhouettes, designed for movement and protection, become fluid forms layered with memory—a quiet reflection on what remains, an intimate and indestructible idea of “home.”
