What a perfect wee lunch time treat 🫶🏻 I have wanted to try lymphatic drainage for ages, I’ve heard such incredible things and as a firm believer in holistic therapy for maintenance and rehab, I jumped at the chance to give it a go. One week on from the Belfast Marathon, I’m definitely carrying a lot of water and a bit of bloating from carb loading but after my treatment with Jana I feel so much better and overall a lot more relaxed in myself. T-minus 12 hours until the @belfastcitymarathon 🤭🙌🏻 I went on my final run on Wednesday, a light one that, not going to lie, was difficult in 19 degrees when you’re used to running in wind and rain! The race fit is packed, shoes are laced, running tan is on and the gels are calling my name, slighting 💩-ing it but I know once im on the course tomorrow I’ll be flying! April Round Up 💕 Started the month at Fiction Fest with Page & Wick which was pure bookish heaven, too many chats about fictional men, the cutest vendors and now my TBR is quietly judging me 🤣 (tell me your latest 5 star read pls for my May TBR) Then off to Liverpool for sister time.. matcha & coffee dates, wandering around the most insane @waterstonesliverpool , little runs along the class Sefton Park, and a dangerous visit to Red Brick Market where I absolutely convinced myself I needed everything but somehow restrained myself (how? Idk!) Back in Belfast for the Victoria Square fashion show which was so fabulous and in between all the fun… marathon training still happening! Long runs, sore legs, physio appointments and knee braces but we push through and keep showing up 🫶🏻 (any runners here?? I need motivation, let’s chat!) Race Day Essentials 💙 I’m running my first half marathon on Sunday and I am SO nervous! 🫣 my sister and I are running the @belfastcitymarathon for the @nikidneyresearchfund charity, totally a half marathon each which I am so so excited for but also so nervous, it’ll be my longest run to day and I’m not sure what to expect.
