While the world feels heavy and life feels tough, between fits of fear or rage, I try and turn to love. Love for my family, my partner, my friends, for strangers and neighbors, for the flowers and the trees, and love for myself and the lesson I’ve learned.. and the ones I’m still learning 😮💨 For me, it’s the whole point. 🌱🧡
About a year ago I asked this girl with beautiful eyes and really cool tattoos out on a date. We shared a sandwich and a couple of cocktails at the Front Street Cafe, then went to see a band neither of us had heard of but they had a fun name. Every day since, I’ve thanked the universe for putting her in my path and that she liked my eyes and tattoos too.
May we always share sandwiches and see bands we’ve never heard of. Cheers to you and to me and to what we’ve found 😚 I love you honey

Oct&Nov; turned 33 👴🏻 started a new job, had a fancy dinner with a cute date, got bit by a zombie boy, read to the most adorable baby boy who preferred Miss Rachel but I get it, watched Charlie lose a race, got spooked at a drive in, killed my car but my personal mechanic revived it, built some plants, explored new coffee shops, saw behind the scenes music, was grateful for friends, got a strike and a couple of spares, marinated tofu, disobeyed my mother, and finally got rid of my house plant gnats. An achievement to say the least.
