Spring dump - I got a little emotional looking over these pics and videos and it doesn’t cease to amaze me how strong the human spirit is. It’s been a real hard stay to the year but thank goodness for friends, family and the wild toddler energy!
1. Walking in Wimbledon with Hiro and getting 20 mins respite from looking after my dad - the common was and always has been a place to replenish energy.
2. Mama in hospitals with sepsis and taking my dad for appointments and squeezing in a visit to the ward. 💗
3. A sudden trip to AnE
4. This guy had to wait 10 hours to be seen and then got sent to another hospital - in awe of his strength and determination x
5. Thank goodness for cousins who love and want to look after their little cuz xx thanks @sophieilkemp
6. The show must go on. Even though life throws you all sorts … music lifts your spirits as do the friends you play with x

9. Trips to Yorkshire nothing like a good strong Yorkshire sea wind to wash off old energy that no longer serves you.

Well Christmas started with a bang with the fab @massaoke this year! So fun to be playing with this lovely bunch - from Southsea to Edinburgh then a mini Xmas in Yorkshire with Mark’s family…
Last few shows with Massaoke and 29 Fingers down in London …. Then my poor Mama ended up going into hospital with an abscess on her liver - and my dad with dementia- enjoy good health people cause it’s a bigger when it goes. Keep your loved ones close and cherish every moment.

We both forgot to say Happy Anniversary but it doesn’t matter because our love is so much more than a day to celebrate and remember our love.

Mark everyday you amaze me more this year than ever. You have become a father a second time round and your love for both your sons is beautiful to watch x your fight to choose life is awe inspiring and your determination to keep building and pushing our house forward is truly mind blowing! (You know I would live in a pile of rubble) 😜

Mark went back out on tour and came back so lots of Mama/Hiro time…

These past few weeks have been incredible and challenging - Mark recovering from surgery, My sister getting married to her wonderful husband then Mark off on tour for 6 weeks.. So seeing family down South and up North, and friends - dancing with other Mamas - all of you have kept me sane! Thank you to everyone - it really does take a village xx
To my love @markskunkanansie Happy Bday these past few months have been so hard for you. Finding your diagnosis and hitting it straight in the face. Your inner strength and of course physical strength has really shown and I’m so proud of you and your body.
