Yes you're coming to a party, party!! It's only once in a lifetime you turn 40, but even MORE just once that you turn 40 & 1/2!! With that fact of life stated, I am throwing myself the best half-Birthday Party a guy could ask for by having some of my favorite bands play the stage @doitnowtshirts !!! On July 19th starting at 6pm, you can catch @huston_west_banjo , @swampratsmusic , @racoon_tyrant and @theloomsband all sharing the stage in a music extravaganza you don't wanna miss - I'll be playing, too (of course) and debuting some new music ;-). Since growing up in Texas, I've enjoyed the challenge of debating politics with friends whose views differ from mine. It's something that is sorely lacking from today's discourse, but there are still some things we can come together on. Another war in the middle-east will be devastating for people both here in this country as well as for those who will likely see bombs dropping on their homelands, and even people all across the world. I came of age during the build-up to the disastrous war with Iraq and the horrific consequences its people and the world paid as a result. This impending war with Iran will be far, far worse. It may even risk our very survival on this planet. The US Congress MUST give authorization before the US can go to war with another nation. This has not taken place, nor will it. This is not acceptable. Congressman Thomas Massie @repthomasmassie of Kentucky has introduced the Iran War Powers Resolution, cosponsored by @reprokhanna , legislation that would require congressional approval before any involvement in the middle east could take place. Please consider calling your Senator today. Our world and lives may depend on it: No More War CALL YOUR SENATORS #nowarwithiran

Last night we ReAssembled and it felt so good! Had a blast hanging with everyone, all the bands killed it, the energy and vibes were high, solid time!!
