Heading into the week like……After months of bobbing up and down in the waves of uncertainty and change struggling to see land at a painfully long distance away, I finally have stumbled my way on to terra firma. Resuming physical activities with positive results. A couple of locals chased us away after taking these shots even though belly dancing is very popular in Turkey. A few weeks ago I had the long overdue pleasure of collaborating with the multi-talented and super kind @elisakclark. I am very grateful that she was able to find some time in a very busy tour schedule when #markmorrisdancegroup was in town for shows at the Broad. Many thanks to the phenomenal @james.agilmer for sharing this photo from a day off during #alvinailey tour stop in LA a couple months back. This shoot was especially meaningful for me, because the first time I collaborated with James was literally days before he moved out to New York to join AAADT. Five years ago I was blessed to meet the amazing @constance.stamatiou. Little did I know at the time that she would become my most frequent collaborator. 7 shoots together now. Photographing Constance is always a joy: she brings such positive energy, playful spirit, enthusiasm of exploring, and willingness to step outside the comfort zone. I have tremendous respect for all that she has accomplished, especially since having the kids. Most of all, I am grateful to call her a friend!Photo editor: @maciekstepnik
