Palm Springs 111, oil on canvas, 38 x 60 inches, 2025. One of my favorite subjects. The first time I drove under this sign - the gateway to this vast, epic, dangerous and beautiful land - I knew I was home. This summer marks 25 of years of living and painting in both the low and high desert. #palmsprings #yuccavalley @jwillottgallery
In the studio. Memories of Palm Springs summer nights, of warm water and starry skies, of freedom and peace in the California desert. Midnight Oasis, oil on canvas, 48 x 72 inches. @jwillottgallery
If you’re in Palm Desert this weekend check out two new large scale horizon paintings just hung @jwillottgallery . Views of the twin peaks of the Coachella Valley, Mt. San Jacinto and Mt. San Gorgonio, as seen at dawn and dusk.
Breaking news! Currently drying in the studio.

Join us @kpprojectsgallery in Los Angeles for the opening of “West of Heaven” - charcoal drawings by Eric Nash. Saturday, November 15th, 2025 from 6 to 9 p.m. This show continues my interest in contrast, light and shadow through the power of charcoal, the most ancient and elemental medium. I document places born of both simple beauty and harsh realities. Small poetic moments of truth with bursts of yearning, hope and dreams. Places west of Heaven where the roads are not paved in gold but rather where pawn shops buy gold. This is where I live and what I draw. (Drawing: “Lost In Desire,” The Word Series, charcoal on paper, 30 x 44 inches, 2025)
