Seeing this Agassiz world time made by Louis Cottier with enamel dial depicting Joan of Arc made for Charles de Gaulle yesterday in Geneva was an emotional experience. It was one of four unique pieces made for the four primary Allied leaders at the end of the Second World War. Thanks to Isabella Proia @izzlala for showing it to me at the Phillips preview and congratulations to the fortunate buyer who acquired one of the finest timepieces in the world for 1.46m CHF.
