I have a complicated relationship with social media, but this feels worth pushing past in case someone who might enjoy this film wouldn’t otherwise come across it.
Vivien is a remarkable individual whose understanding of the language of cinema runs through her entire being. Working with her was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, both creatively and as a human. Her playful spirit and infectious enthusiasm for storytelling transformed my understanding of what it means to be an editor. I feel incredibly lucky to have been able to sit beside her and help tell her story. It’s hard to put into words what a tremendous mentor, artist, and friend she is.
If you have a chance, I truly hope you’ll watch this beautiful film. I can’t wait for people to experience it. With gratitude to everyone who helped bring this film into the world.
