What you see vs what I’ve seen. The cover art that I worked on for Camryn Garrett’s Friday I’m in Love has had a few lives now- giant billboard to mini book, but always super impactful. I try to put my heart into the paintings so it’s always rewarding to see just where they end up- this time with my freelance and day job colliding in the most unexpected way. #bagcharms #bookcharm #coachbag #coachbags
10 years ago, today, on 9/5/14 I moved to NYC 🍎🚕🗽. What a time it’s been. If you want to touch the sky, I suggest you close your eyes and dare to dream here. ❤️
Before there was music, there was Marimba. Discover the myth behind GODDESS, the African folktale of defiance, transformation, and the divine power of music.
Come hear her song in GODDESS: A New Musical, opening tonight at The Public Theater! 🎶✨
Now that you know the myth…
Come find her.
Come feel it.
Come hear what happens next...

Hello 👋🏽
I’ll be doing my first guest speaker engagement this Wednesday for Montgomery College’s Integrated Arts Class, facilitated by Dr. Zeporia Smith and @sara_mc913 . The conversation will be grounded around becoming a commercial artist and the impact AI might have on the arts.
I’ll be going live on IG and can send a zoom link if you DM me. See you at 7pm. 📝
The cover art that I worked on for Friday I’m in Love is now a @coach book charm! I never expected my worlds to collide like this. I’m a freelance illustrator in the publishing industry and an Art Director at Coach. I learned about the collab in January and was through the moon! And yes, the mini book by @camryngwrites has the full text printed so you can enjoy on the go ❤️. #coach #bagcharms
2016: I painted Lady Gaga for Rolling Stone over my bday weekend; the fastest deadline I’d ever met. My cards for Papyrus were in stores. My artwork for Strut ran on tv. I worked at Victoria’s Secret as a graphic designer. Did an editorial for Glamour Mexico. Visited Mexico. Went to Coachella- hated Coachella. I was running fast and could not foresee the things I’d have to let go as a completely new wave would trickle in over the following decade. 🏝️
This year for Coach pop-ups, the team in Korea asked us to create a digital postcard activation and my eyes lit up. With a little back and forth to understand their vision, I created a few winter motifs centered around the woodland creatures in our 3D displays. People were able to use the screens to color in their in the animals and print out their customized postcards. 😻 Copy by @carolynm.arie and motion direction by @studio_hikuju 🎄
