It’s been a minute since I’ve posted anything. To be honest, social media feels like a chore and extra work to me these days but sometimes, especially considering current events, highlighting extraordinary people doing awesome things doesn’t feel like such a chore.
I met Hsia-Jung Chang last week and her stories and talent are incredible. She’s an amazing pianist and person and I was delighted to be serenaded while working. Read @maddiepearson ’s story about her in this week’s @theinlander - link in bio.
A few photos of Spokane’s Navigation Center which relaunched on Sept. 25, is part of the city’s new homelessness plan pushed by Mayor Lisa Brown to distribute shelter beds across the city while providing a centralized hub downtown to connect people to service providers.
While there, I met Robert Snow and his three-legged dog Atlas. A few years ago, Atlas had been hit by a car and had to have his front leg amputated. Robert says he is fully healed and gets around just fine.
