I used to be a caretaker that turned into a friendship with Teresa. This is a tribute to Doris. The lyrics talk about doubts of what to say to an ailing loved one, while they are losing a loved one. Just being and being with her, I found helped my friend.
My beloved Memphis Theatre/Film Peeps, I’m moving to NC next Saturday, June 7th, 🏳️🌈HAPPY PRIDE🏳️🌈!! It’s been such a delight, honor and one of the best acting classes to watch all of y’all’s work, whether we were treadin’ the boards together or from afar. I am extremely grateful for all the opportunities I’ve had over these 7+ years with all of you. Another opportunity has presented itself in NC so that I may be finally able to secure finances in my life. So, a secular job will be my focus for a while until I jump back into film and theatre. My soul is linked to acting. I’ve tested myself before in “trying to quit” and I was happily NOT surprised to be “stuck” with this love for acting. My folks live in midtown so I definitely will be back for holidays/holiday shows. I’d love to hang out with everyone and see you and hug your necks. Please take this virtual hug (*squeeze*) if I don’t get the real thing from you.
