#2016 throwback
Wild to think this was the start of my DJ journey. After wrapping up my metal band days, I was craving a new way to express myself through music. A few raves later and one life changing visit to the OG Comfort Zone, I knew this was the path. Back then I went by Red, which was my nickname at the time (some OGs still call me that now š )
I picked up an XDJ RX, which Iām still using today, and learned the ropes in my parentās basement. If youāre from Hamilton, you probably remember O Lounge (shoutout @giulio_palazzo73 ). Giulio gave so many of us our first real shot behind the decks and taught us how to read a room, truly an iconic venue in Hamiltons music scene.
Grateful for all the mentors along the way. Even crazier to now be releasing music on labels I was discovering back then.
