We went to space! This week’s episode of @highpotentialabc was a BLAST to write. Grateful to our amazing cast and crew for pulling this one off. And in one of the coolest moments on set, we got to video chat with @jonnykimusa aboard the International Space Station literally minutes before he had to fly back down to Earth.
This week’s @highpotentialabc episode that I wrote is special for many reasons. My family came to visit set for the first time and met our amazing cast and crew. The story features a father and his sons. And it’s got video games, stunts, sushi, THAT twist, and a brief cameo if you watch closely 😉

My first episode of @highpotentialabc airs tonight! I had the honor of writing this with @b0bg00dman , and working with director @nanhower , DP @rudenberg_dp , and the rest of our wonderful crew and cast including the always fashionably brilliant @kaitlinolson . Watch closely and you may notice a small cameo 😁
Today my good friend @jonnykimusa blasts off into space. He will spend the next eight months aboard the International Space Station. Our final moments in person took place with him in quarantine and us saying goodbye through a layer of glass.
I’m grateful to Jonny for inviting me to his launch and to be a part of this truly once in a lifetime occasion. And I’m grateful to the team at NASA for making this trip happen. The first few days in Russia felt so surreal touring the Red Square, Star City, and meandering through the streets of Moscow at midnight wondering “how am I here??” But as Launch Day drew near, it’s finally hitting.
There’s a saying in Latin: “Ad astra per aspera.” It means: “Through hardships to the stars.” To me that’s Jonny. There aren’t many who have been through more and can lead us to more. He represents the best of humanity not because of what he’s achieved but because of who he is: a man of integrity, humility, and dedication to doing good in the world. If we ever have to send someone from Earth to meet an alien, my money is on Jonny. Safe journey, my friend.

Proud of Eli playing in his first basketball league. I think I was more nervous than he was because he was a 1st grader playing with 2nd graders. But he had a ton of fun and grew so much as a player and teammate. Thank you @magicelitehoops for a wonderful season.
