Had a delightful time at Alaska B4UDIE Comedy Fest with my work wife @sohile.ali . Appreciate all the folks in the Anchorage comedy scene for having us. What a life!
2024 was wild! Performed in 19 states, got accepted into a half dozen comedy festivals, opened for countless great comedians, lost a month to pneumonia, and now I'm about to headline my home club for the first time. Could use a nap in 2025.

We were going to write a normal caption for Eric Hook’s show this Friday but honestly… we all have ADHD here too. 🤝🏼 @erichookcomedy
What day is it again?
ANYWAY — Eric Hook is coming to The Spot on 5/22. If you like sharp storytelling, Midwestern family dysfunction, and jokes that feel a little too specific, you’re gonna LOVE this show.
You may have seen him at Zanies Nashville, on SiriusXM, peeking through your windows, OR opening for Pete Holmes and Gianmarco Soresi — now he’s hitting our stage for one night only! 🔥
🎟️ Tickets on sale NOW ‼️ (link in bio)
Grab them before we all get distracted again.
Sold out weekend at @springfieldcomedy in the books. Derrick Stroup is the man, one of the coolest folks I've gotten to work with. The staff at the club were awesome. Comedy is fun.
Super excited for the upcoming Muckedy Mondays with @erichookcomedy featuring and @terryscomedy hosting! It’s bound to be a great time! Show starts at 8, sign up list at 7:30, writing space at 7! Come out and try the question bucket or run your set! See ya there!
Heading to the birth place of Ranch dressing this March for the @b4udiefest in Anchorage, Alaska. 3 shows with a bunch of awesome comics including my ole pal @sohile.ali
Wrapping up a wild year. Took a small step back from shows in 2025 to welcome our first son, which has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. Comedy still gave me many great opportunities across the country and I still love writing and performing.
But this year also revealed a side of the industry that’s hard to ignore. I saw what happens when unchecked power is maneuvered in comedy—and how easily people chasing stage time will stand by and let it happen.
That said, there are still good people in comedy. I'm obviously not perfect either, but I believe it’s possible to pursue this without fully compromising your integrity, and those are the people I want to keep building with.
This year was bittersweet. Things are more complicated now than when I started, but I still love comedy and I'm still gonna keep at it... Hopefully I'll see you at one of these shows in 2026.
