When I see speckled light floating across brick walls I get a little excited! Symmetry and lines also peak my interest. Right across this is a peach toned wall that I loved using as blank canvas to capture Brandon and Courtney’s playfulness.
What a beautiful engagement session! I love shooting in this area of Palos verdes because there’s a variety of unique backgrounds! We first started in a woodsy area, then moved on to areas with European style architecture and ended with breathtaking views of the PV cliffs!
Ohhhhhhhh these golden hour photos are so…as my wife loves to say “romanticals!” With the soft light at the end of golden hour and the first glimpse of blue hour (it’s the period right after golden hour) we couldn’t go wrong. Oh I get so excited shooting during that time because it is literally the best! We ended Courtney and Brandon’s engagement session off the coast of Palos Verdes at one of my favorite spots!
When Christine and tony had their wedding at the Long Beach Museum of Art there was a food exhibit and they told me that they wanted to take photos in it! I was like “Yes! Say no more! I loved being able to shoot in the exhibit space with the big huge windows and food references. Today’s post is some of my favorite portraits from their day!
We got beautiful florals, and decor with subtle hints of penguin details, pho bowls, invitations and fur babies! Love this collection of wonderful details from Christine and Tony’s wedding!
From the start of a wedding day to the end I’m always on the look out for candids and the more emotions there are the more candids I can get. And the more candids I get the happier I get! So I was really happy at Christine and Tony’s wedding became it was a beautiful and joyous event! They put together an incredibly classy wedding with bow ties and live music. But they also made it cultural with some Ao-Ai’s and Pho to end the night! Here’s a collection of wonderful moments to sum up their wedding!
What I love about my couples is that they’re willing to photograph in untraditional places! We ended Cici and Joes engagement session at one of their favorite restaurants both to shoot and to eat and it was fun and delicious! This restaurant had very distinct ambiance, and it was a vibe! Can you guess which restaurant it is? Hint: it’s in the San Gabriel Valley!
Cici and Joe got married this past weekend! And it was so good! I wanted to post a few more from their engagement session since I didn’t get around to it yet! Their engagement session and wedding had elements of Lala Land in it! We photographed at the Griffith observatory which is one of the scenes in the movie and during their wedding they performed a duet together from the movie soundtrack!
Ohhh so excited for these two to get married this weekend!!! We started their engagement session at the Griffith observatory which is one of my old-school favorite places to shoot. It was really crowded per usual but we navigated our way around the beautiful architecture and got glimpse of the beautiful light and the views. Unfortunately the top deck was closed that day but didn’t stop us from having a wonderful shoot! More photos to come tomorrow!
Among the sleepless nights and endless diaper changes @v_cueee and I managed to squeeze in 5 minutes to do a quick photo shoot just to remember how precious he is at one week. I’m not a newborn photographer and I don’t ever want to be but I had a little bit of fun throwing together a quick basket stuffed with blankets with Trey in a very loose swaddle. Whew! This was already a couple of weeks ago and it flew by so quickly. Everyday is a blur but I have an amazing wife to be parents with :)
I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since our wedding! So much of life and so much of everything has happened in one year! Appreciate my wonderful wife @v_cueee for being the best partner ever! Thank you for all the friends and family who have supported us in our journey! Thank you for @graydayphoto for creating this amazing video that’ll we’ll cherish forever! The full video is 12 minutes long so I’m breaking them up into thirds! This is the final third of our video!
