I’m so excited to announce that my next album “Lucky Day Roadrunner” is coming out May 1st. You can hear the title track now. I feel lucky to be working toward my own project now, and making music that feels meaningful to me. It’s been one year of putting out music and playing shows under my name. I’m grateful to be nervous to share these songs because I know they are honest, that I did my best, and that I care about them. “Samara” is out now. It’s my first album - and my gosh I’m proud of it. we recorded it almost all live, in Brooklyn, half in the Fall ’23, half in winter ’24, and released on the first day of spring ’25. It feels like a beginning - the beginning of this music in the world, as well as the start of what I hope is a long journey of making and creating and sharing. I’m honored and grateful for all who played a role - for my friends - for my family - for all the collaborators who shaped it. @philipweinrobe for making me approach each song with novelty and wonder, @jburgerdrums for his encouragement and unwavering care for the ‘song’, @haldeman for building worlds we could all explore together, @joshuacrumbly for centering us, both musically and with his gentle presence in the room, @young_gumby for his generosity of spirit and always giving his best half (n half), @dan_iead for floating through each song with melody and care, @maiafffff for contributing her sweet voice to the songs, layering depth and harmony @michaelprincecoleman for adding sparkle and mystery, @puppylodge , @oliverhill___ , and @stuartbogie for their crucial and thoughtful additions to the record, @joshbonati for the final touches, truly bringing the best out of the music, and @bradleypinkerton for capturing the music with his art. much love and I hope you check it out 🫶

My second album “Lucky Day Roadrunner” is out now. I’m endlessly proud and grateful to share these songs, the stories, and the meaning they hold for me.  It’s special to create something “permanent” while embracing a process so spontaneous and ephemeral by coming up with the arrangements moments before hitting record, singing and playing together in one room.    Finding the arrangements collectively, the more each song felt like reflection of myself and what I wanted to say, the more they also became the voices of everyone in the room.  And because a lot of the songs on the album are stories of fleeting shared experiences — I think the way we made the album became a reflection of the connection and meaning found in a kind of fleeting shared experience. Human and alive, beautiful in its roughness, its depth in the immense potential to have been otherwise. Because being aliveeeee is a continuous and finite string of choices, made meaningful against the backdrop of the infinite choices you could have and always can make instead… anywayyyy! 
I’m so grateful to these gems of people and musicians Meg Duffy, Adam Brisbin, Sean Mullins, and Dandy McDowell who made up the core band.  And to the many more incredible people who played on the record - Núria Graham, Michael Haldeman, Will Shore, Michael Coleman, and Cole Kamen-Green.  Thank you to Philip Weinrobe for bringing the best out of the songs and everybody, pushing me to sing live (and yell with the lights off), to Josh Bonati for the final magic, and Erik Solin for bringing the album to life with his artwork. I feel so lucky and grateful and I’m excited to share it. Lucky Day Roadrunner is out now. meet @ericgabriel eric is a songwriter, pianist, and producer from nyc. his sophomore album, “Lucky Day Roadrunner” (out this friday 🗓️ ), was recorded live with philip weinrobe (adrianne lenker, florist). both “loose and locked in” (atwood magazine), eric’s music recalls classic rock and soul records from 70s and pulls from artists like bill withers, john prine, and sly and the family stone. prior to releasing his solo albums, eric got his start as the co-founder of melt, the indie-soul “groovy superorganism” (npr) which he was a member from 2017-25. we’re so stoked to be singing “toledo” with him ❤️ may 1 & 2 7:30pm first u brooklyn ticket link in bio 🔗♥️ #choir #indiemusic #brooklynmusic #brooklynchoirproject #nycconcerts
