My new band @wearebrokenties is going in to record 7 songs very soon. Promo photos are way more fun when I’m not in them but here we are. Shot in and outside my studio last night. Give us a follow if you’re a fan of punk or hardcore. Or don’t. I’m not your boss.
‘53 Chevy truck I photographed for a Florida client whose classic/vintage car collection is growing. @makefilmsco came in clutch with the cyc and @aarondienner held it down with the assist. The next day, this truck was trailered to the client’s son in Pittsburgh. Professionally restored by the fine folks at Cornerstone Automotive Restoration in Lititz.
Had a blast shooting this newly restored ‘53 Chevy at the new @makefilmsco studio. With help from @aarondienner who kept the shoot smooth and moving while keeping the light where we needed it. Thanks for setting me up for success @makefilmsco !

People form judgments in seconds. A sharp, well-lit headshot signals competence, attention to detail, and credibility. A poor photo creates friction before any conversation begins. @ericforberger
Some recent work! You might catch these images I shot for Sauders Eggs on bus shelters around Lancaster County.

Today the @millersvilleu Photography students came in for a visit to talk about lighting. I wowed them with all of my knowledge of youth culture and popular music. They had great questions like, “why are you shouting?” And “why use a concrete block as a stool for your subject?” They had a blast and learned a ton. #ericshootsmodels
🎸📸 Quick Photo Tip for Local Bands!
Want your live shots to look way more pro? Try this: shutter drag + rear curtain sync.
Leave your shutter open for a couple seconds to capture motion, then let the flash fire at the end to freeze the subject.
Result? Epic ghost trails + a sharp final moment — perfect for high-energy band photos that stand out on social.
If you’re playing shows, shooting content, or trying to level up your promo pics… this trick is a game-changer.

🎙️🎸 Growing up in the MTV era? That was our Spotify algorithm before algorithms even existed.
On this episode of the Tone Tailors Podcast, Levi & Eric dive into how MTV used to be the gateway to discovering new music. You didn’t sift through playlists or wait for an AI to predict your vibe — you turned on MTV and whatever came next shaped your entire music taste.
📺 TRL after school.
🌙 Headbangers Ball at midnight.
🎶 If your song made it onto MTV… you’d officially “made it.”
Fast forward to 2025 — MTV doesn’t even play music anymore, and now we’re relying on Spotify and streaming to tell us what’s next. Did we evolve? Or did we lose something when the music left the TV?

🎙️ Real talk from the latest Tone Tailors podcast…
In the 80s, you had to walk up, shake a hand, and say hello. And here we are in 2025—with social media in our pocket—still the same rule applies.
👋 If you’re a band, solo artist, promoter, producer… whatever you do in music… go meet someone new. Start a convo. Introduce yourself. You never know which “hello” leads to your next gig, collab, or opportunity.
Talent matters. But relationships open doors.

Hot off the presses. My cover shot for @cityandstatepa Magazine with help from @lpg_isme . It was a toasty day in Harrisburg with the backdrop of Italian Lake Park. A good time was had by all.
