The Bronx is in my blood.
Born and raised in Kingsbridge, I’ve seen firsthand how vibrant, diverse, and proud our community is. That’s why I’m committed to beautifying the North Bronx, from removing graffiti and cleaning our streets to supporting public art like the brand-new “Broadway Tropics” mural we unveiled this week at W. 231st & Broadway. 🌺🎨
These murals are a celebration of who we are and what makes the Bronx so special - and a promise that we will keep investing in our neighborhoods for generations to come. 💚

Today at Tracey Towers, during the “HPD in the District” event sponsored by my office, I had the opportunity to speak with Mari. Mari attends Ampark Neighborhood School in my district, and like all of us, her goal is to keep the Bronx safe! #bronx #bronxpride #ericdinowitznyc
Brianna, one of the incredibly hard-working high school students in my district, created a toolkit to help Spanish-speakers overcome language barriers in the healthcare system. I’m proud to support dedicated students (and future doctors!) like Brianna here and throughout the city!
SUNDAY FUNDAY! Join us for an array of activities on Sunday, May 17th. We have our helmet giveaway, shredding, the Riverdale Y Run and the RMSA block party. We will see you there!
Today marked a historic milestone as we celebrated with a groundbreaking ceremony for River’s Edge, the newest addition to our beautiful 32-acre campus. River’s Edge, New York City’s first and only life plan community reflects the future of senior living. Designed for adults 62+, the community will offer a wellness-focused, upscale living experience with thoughtfully curated amenities including pickleball and tennis courts, Pilates studio, indoor saltwater pool, as well as an on-site wellness concierge suite staffed by NewYork-Presbyterian doctors.
The future is taking shape at River’s Edge!

Great time with Councilmember @ericdinowitznyc at PS 70, learning about their needs and hearing from their student council! We also stopped by the school auditorium to test out the piano skills! (No one filed a noise complaint!)
Need help with a summons? Come see OATH at Van Cortlandt Park (Tortoise and the Hare statue) TOMORROW! OATH has helped many of constituents and you could be next!
Thank you, Deputy Speaker Nantasha Williams, for convening such a thoughtful and impactful roundtable.
Bringing policymakers and researchers together is how we begin to close the gap between data and real-life outcomes. Today’s conversation with faculty from the Columbia School of Social Work highlighted critical issues—from child welfare and mental health access to economic stability and the long-term impacts of the criminal legal system.
I’m looking forward to continued collaboration that leverages research to positively impact New Yorkers.

Sorry, RFK. The @nyccouncil just passed my bill Int 0693-2026, which will use education as a tool to fight the misinformation and negligence of the Trump administration when it comes to our health.
Thank you to my colleagues @speakermenin@lynn4nyc@voteshekar for helping get this bill, and a whole package of bills, over the finish line. Today’s vote ensures parents and caregivers have the facts when it comes to vaccines!
